ITU Journal of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering is a peer-reviewed journal, publishing original articles in the fields of production and manufacturing processes, properties and functional performances of metals, ceramics, polymers and their composites.

Journal welcomes theoretical and experimental articles dealing with scientific and engineering aspects of metallurgical processes (raw materials and recycling of scraps and wastes), forming processes (casting, plastic deformation, powder metallurgy, joining, machining), bulk and surface processes (heat treatment, surface treatment, coating) development of new materials and composites, structure and property characterization.
